This site came about from 2 of my main interests: website building - html and so forth - and The Lord of the Rings, which are in my oppinion the best movies ever made. My dream is to somehow make a site that covers the entire The Lord of the Rings, for instance the official LotR site, but doing that can be rather hard especially for the rather, unexperienced teenager I am. But I still decided to give it a try.The name of the site: My first name in Elvish is Elanesse, but, sounding too masculine, I added an a on the end. I added the word "haven" to the end of the site name because I am fascinated with the beautiful Grey Havens, and "haven" means a place of safety and shelter. When I first made this site, I thought that "haven" meant a secret place, so I figured that Elanessea's Haven was perfect.. But now that I really know what haven means, all I have to say is "oh well". It still sounds nice.
The site is hosted now! Thanks to my mother who wanted a site herself, I am now hosted and I will probably be able to make some fanlistings. If so, I will definitely add a link to them here or somewhere else on the site.
